Aperture Cellars is the father-and-son project of celebrated photographer Andy Katz and winemaker Jesse Katz, one of the most decorated young winemakers in California. Jesse trained at some of the most rigorous addresses in the wine world. Pétrus, Screaming Eagle, Lafite, before returning home to Sonoma to launch Aperture. The wines are Bordeaux-variety expressions framed with the same precision Andy brings to his photography: site, light, focus. Aperture has earned 100-point scores and a place on the most discerning wine lists in Texas. The lineup includes the Del Rio and Oliver Ranch single-vineyard Cabernets, the Red Blend, Chenin Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc.
