From a windy, cool location in the Santa Rita Hills of Santa Barbara County. All Clone 76, barrel-fermented in a 500-liter barrel with a vineyard-derived pied de cuve, and kept in oak for 17 months with no racking or battonage. Remarkably fine aromas of green apples, lime and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, with a silky texture on the palate and a long, vibrant — almost saline — finish. 62 cases produced.
