Sancerre, Loire Valley, Raimbault 2023

Produced by Domaine du Semel, which is owned and run by the Raimbault family, their eponymous Sancerre (with tertiary label) is fermented from grapes planted to both Terre Blanche and Cailottes soil. Julien manages the vineyards while his brother Clement, who has done stints at Domaine Trapet in Burgundy as well as Te Mata in New Zealand, makes the wine. The farming is lutte raisone. A dynamite Sancerre. It is medium-bodied and filled with citrus and stone fruits, mineral, and fresh acidity. Clean and mouthwatering, it's a perfect match for all kinds of fish and pasta. Or just drink it by itself...it's delicious! Farming Practice: Organic
